last time i checked MS only owns first 3 gears i think….and honestly i could careless about GEARS since Ps3 owners have Uncharted 2. I mean it is only the most awesome TPS game ever /boom!

Ok let straighten things up and dont get mad this is a ps3 fanboy talking…

Gear of war franchise is own by Microsoft now, there will be no gears on ps3 or wii but Epic games is not owned by Microsoft, Which if they want to make a new franchise they can make it multi-platform anyday just like Bungie, Ruffian Games, or Valve Corporation There all Third-party partners….. Ps3 is the one that own many companies like Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Zipper Interactive and Guerrilla Games… PS3 FTW
P.S i do my Homework with the console wars and i always get my facts straight…

This is like saying: “God of War 3 on the 360, why not?”

It’s never gonna happen, Sony couldn’t care less about the Gears of War franchise, and you know Epic is not that keen on bringing it to the PS3 in the first place.

@ chris. Lol gear does suck, Nuffsaid on that. Who the hell gets shot with a damn cross bow with a fuckin bomb on it and still lives? Who the Hell would want Gears…. That Game Online Sucks Pure @SS… Hopefully Quantum Would Be better online With no Lag, And When you Shoot the Person They actually dies… I Play at my friend house I Shot the Guy 20 times Mother Fuc*er dont die… And He still running like he a superhero and shit P.S I NEVER WANT TO PLAY A GEAR OF WAR GAME EVER AGAIN

M$ DOES NOT! own gears of war.
they had a 2 game deal with epic, so gears 3 could be on what ever system they saw fit.
and just because the game has Microsoft game studios on it does not mean they own the IP.
ninja gaiden 2 had that and its coming to the ps3.
3rd party exclusives are depleating.
why because games are much more expensive than they use to be, there for restricting sales on one system will hurt the devs chances from making a profit.
that is if M$ dont come swooping in with their infinant checkbook
