Venetica: the sleeper hit of 2009?

Posted by Ahmad Dajani On September - 2 - 2009

Venetica is a fantasy-themed role playing game from the German developers, Deck 13. The game follows Scarlet the daughter of death in a journey to stop a necromancer who intends to bring complete death and destruction upon the world.

Scarlet -she looks hot- will be able to explore the fantastic Venice setting on several levels: She walks the streets, enjoys the beautiful view from the roofs of Venice’s houses and swims the canals. From there she can reach dark catacombs underneath the city, which are filled with creatures, treasures and puzzles.

The game looks fantastic with a similar art design to another fantasy-themed game, Fable 2. Venetica will be a cinematic RPG with an extraordinary and deep story. The game mixes emotion and action in spectacular ways.

The game will be released on Xbox360 and PC in October, 2009. Keep an eye for this game as it may be one of the sleeper hits this year. Enjoy the Gamecon trailer below.

    DreamFall and Fable (graphics wise)

Looks good. But, hopefully it’s really good and gets proper hyping after people play it.
