Tokyo Game Show is one of the most important and exciting videogames exhibitions in the world. And while the show is far from finished, we already have seen some impressive trailers that raised our interest for a number of yet to be released videogames.

We here at Vgarabia.com present to you the best 5 TGS 09 trailers:

5. Lost Planet 2:

Lost Planet 2 is the upcoming 3rd person shooter from the creators of the highly acclaimed action game, Resident Evil 5. The game looks stunning as it use an upgraded version of the engine that powered Resident Evil 5 (MT Framework).

This episodic trailer shows multiple environments and scenarios plus one huge Akrid at the end of the trailer. The game is shaping up to be one of the best games in 2010.

4. The Last Guardian:

Team Ico games always bring something new to the gaming industry, and The Last Guardian will be no different. While this trailer doesn’t show something new or how the gameplay will be, the amazing soundtrack featured in this trailer and the amazing animation for this doggy like creature must be the reasons why it should be in your most wanted list.

3. Assassin Creed 2:

Assassin Creed 2 looks to move away from all of the criticism that had loomed around the first game. The game seems to give the player more diversity; with more tools/weapons to use and more varied missions to complete.

You are wondering the reason why Ezio is an assassin? Watch this trailer.

2. Splinter Cell: Conviction:

Conviction is the most brutal, edgy Splinter Cell yet and the latest TGS trailer shows how good this game will be.

I’m not the biggest Splinter Cell fan out there, but since Ubisoft demonstrated this game at the last E3 and I’ve been watching this game closely. Conviction will be one of the best games in 2010.

1. MGS: Peace Walker:

Are you surprised that I gave the number one spot for a PSP game? Don’t be surprised; because Peace Walker looks to be the most ambitious PSP game yet.

While this trailer is in Japanese, you can feel how epic the story in this game will be. Also, this trailer contains a new theme song (Heavens Divide). Kojima Productions does know how to tease their fans.

Great article man, hopefully they’ll get an english trailer for peace walker cause i really wanna know what they’re saying, and hopefully we’ll actually get some real current footage unveiling of team icos project. Otherwise Conviction looks pretty impressive.

‘No Uncharted 2 or GT5? You are kidding, right?’

I don’t think there are TGS trailers for those games. And peace Walker deserve the first spot :)

    @ JappySan

Bayonetta, Ninety-Nine Nights II and the Nier Replicant and Gestalt trailers are impressive too. But when you are talking about the best 5, the list varies from a person to another :)
