Everyone is getting excited about the upcoming PS3 exclusive “Heavy Rain” including the infamous videogames analysis Michael Pachter. But will the game be successful? According to Pachter, No. While he stated that the game will be praised by the critics, he doesn’t see that Heavy Rain will be a big success, commercially.
 

In the latest episode of Bonus Round on Gametrailers, they were discussing the upcoming games that will arrive in Q1 2010. Pachter is excited for Heavy Rain as all gamers, but he explained why Heavy Rain won’t be a big commercial success: It’s a new IP and the game is niche.
 
 

Heavy Rain is a very unique game and it will be hard for Sony to advertise the game in the best way possible. Personally, I don’t think that the game will sell as good as Uncharted 2. Also, I think that God of War 3 will sell more copies than both of Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain. What do you think?
