Going with the elite is the better and obvious choice. Making the arcade $99.99 would definitly help it. It would be pointless to make it $149.99. Plus if the arcade was $99.99 it would be cheaper than the wii and that alone could probably see major increase in sales for M$. That's what i would do. So they probably will cut the price sometime this year as well. Rumours have been circulating that Sony are planning to cut the price of the PS3 the week before Gran Turismo 5 launches in the summer. Although they probably won't bother if hardware sales remain solid throughout the first 5 - 6 months of the year. If Heavy Rain, God Of War 3 and Final Fantasy XIII keep the PS3 comfortably outselling the 360, as it has done the past 5 months, then Sony will have no need to slash the price of PS3 hardware. There's defineltly going to be a price war. I think the 360 Arcade should be £99,99, 360 Elite £149,99. As for the PS3, I'll only buy one if they come down to say £199.99 or under. But I can't see how the Wand the Natal is going to boost sales. The biggest majority of people who'll buy into them will be existing owners. Gamers/websites are going on like console sales are going to go through the roof which I can't see happening. It wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft release a new 360 with Natal built in.
