Pachter predicts the best selling game of 2010
2010 is flooded with videogames of high quality. No matter which console you own, you will most likely be spending a lot of your hard earned money on buying some great games this year. With 2010 bringing to us the release of some highly anticipated videogames such as God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Halo: Reach, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and many more, it would be very hard for anyone to predict which game could be the best selling game of 2010.
Speaking on his new show on Gametrailers (Pach-Attack) the infamous video games analyst Michael Pachter has predicted that Halo: Reach will outsell all of the upcoming games in 2010. He predicted that Bungie’s upcoming Xbox360 exclusive ‘Halo: Reach’ is going to sell between 8-9 million copies which according to him would make the forthcoming entry in the Halo series the best selling game of 2010. Though, he spoke of the possibility of a Nintendo game to take the crown of the best selling game of 2010, but at the same time, he has doubted that the upcoming peripheral from Nintendo the Wii Vitality Sensor to sell as hugely as the Wii fit. Also, he said that the next Call of Duty game which is being developed by Treyarch may not sell as good as Modern Warfare 2 did in 2009 because of the fact that Treyarch is developing the game not Infinity Ward.
I think that Halo: Reach will be the best selling exclusive in 2010. But when it comes to the overall best selling game of 2010, there is a high probability that a multiplatform game such as the upcoming Call of Duty game to take the crown simply because it’s available on more than one platform. call of duty:waw (which was developed by treyarch) sold more than 11 million copies. why on earth would their newest game be expected to do any worse???

Wow dumbasses u all realize the gran tourisimo series has sold more than halo with the same number of titles (Gt1-2-3-4-5-psp) (Halo1-2-3-odst-wars-reach) see 6 to 6, and gt has sold more, this is why it will sell more copies.

Some people seem to be forgetting that cataclysm releases later this year. Halo Reach will sell the most on the 360, but I won’t be surprised if cataclysm wins out, although cod will be close, mainly because it’s multi plat. In a related note, I believe gow3 will be the best selling on the ps3, I don’t think I need to explain why

The newest entry to the Call of Duty series is a contender, as is Halo: Reach. We must not forget about God of War 3, Pokemon, and the Medal of Honor reboot.

Meh..almost everybody thinks because it’s another halo or call of duty game that automatically it’s gonna be the biggest seller around which is pretty foolish to make such early predictions because this gen is completely different from any other gen.Just look at who’s leading this gen did anybody think wii & ds would be leading this gen because i bet most of you didn’t see that one coming.Everybody thought 360 was going to fail like the original xbox & leave early this gen but no the 360 is still here & everybody thought the ps3 & psp would automatically take the lead this gen because of sony’s track record in the gaming industry but no their still fighting to get to the top this gen so don’t be so quick to predict what’s going to happen this gen when this gen is so different from the other ones.

i feel that halo reach will dominate win best seller of 2010 because call of duty is coming out with vietnam and leaving modern warfare 2 wide open and not finishing it with modern warfare 3 which in my opinion is VERY STUPID

I honestly think God of War 3 will be the GOTY 2010. This is because I wasn’t such a God of War fan but now am because of it. But as stated it’s unknown, could be Red Dead Redemption or COD, who knows. Anyway, either of them could be the winner as they’re multi-platform.

I’m sure you guys have forgotten about Red Dead Redemption.
Already looks like GTA IV’s Equal, or possibly RDR could knock GTAIV off the top spot.
Also Read Dead Redemption will have over 6 months to build sales for th eyear as many titles mentioned here will only have 1-3.
You could always look at the best games on Metacritic and tell me where any Call of Duty or Halo stands next to GTAIV.
Sure, GTA IV wasnt the game it Could/Should have been,
But it sold,, and sold ALOT..
GTA in the Wild West (on PS3 & 360) Could well push Read Dead Redemption towards the top of the yearly sales figures.

Sentynela is a cheater on several Playstation 3 games including Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3 and Red Dead Redemption. This bitch uses a modded PS3 console with an aimbot and a modified controller. If you come across him in a game just know that there is nothing legitimate about his game.
