After years in development, Santa Monica has revealed that the upcoming smash hit ‘God of War 3′ has gone gold. Christer Ericson who is a director of technology at Santa Monica has tweeted that the development of the highly anticipated title is finished and is being manufactured for distribution right now.
 
 

 
 

In another interesting news, Tim Moss, a director of technology at Santa Monica has revealed the amount of space that God of War III is set to take up on Blu-Ray. He has revealed through a tweet that the game will be manufactured on dual layer Blu-Ray disc as it consumes 35GB of disc space.
 

God of War 3 will be released on March 16th in the US, March 19th in Europe and March 25th in Japan exclusively for the PS3.
