Is GOW3 already the GOTY 2010?
Magnificent, incredible, amazing, fantastic, stunning, epic and other complimentary words can’t really describe the beauty of Santa Monica’s highly anticipated title, God of War 3. It’s been a very long time since I was this excited for a videogame. I have been gaming for over 15 years now, and the way how I do feel right now about this game has only had happened three or four times throughout those years.
I always knew that God of War 3 is going to be a great game simply because of the high quality of the previous games in the series and the fact that I had played the game’s demo months ago. But after I had watched the incredible God of War 3 episode on GTTV, my mind was blown away. To be honest with you, I was a bit disappointed of the God of War 3 demo because I was expecting more of the game. But now, all of my fears are gone away forever.
From what we have seen from GTTV’s God of War 3 blow out, you can see that the visuals of the game are untouchable, the epicness is unmatched and the gore is hitting the max. It’s very obvious that the game’s visuals have improved drastically over the demo, and the quality of the lighting and particle effects in the game are some of the best in the business. Also, it must be noted that the textures do look crisper and more detailed from before. God of War 3 is a graphical masterpiece.
While I don’t think that any game in the near future including God of War 3 can topple the battle system of Platinum Games stylish action game Bayonetta (I sunk over 50 hours into it solely because of its perfect combat system), the combat in God of War 3 is shaping up to be something very special. The intensity, the brutality, the different magic attacks, the new weapons and abilities will make this game a joy to play. Also, the bosses in the game are some of the biggest we have ever seen in a videogame. What more could you ask for?
Add to this an epic story that will reveal the conclusion for one of the best stories ever seen in a videogame, well designed puzzles, and top notch voice acting and you will get a game that seems to be unbeatable. If you still don’t have a PS3, now is the right time to get one because you will be out of your mind to miss a masterpiece such as God of War 3.

It is very early in 2010, however God of War III may have the potential to take game of the year, thus far there has been nothing to rival it to be certain (FFXIII included, although I think it is technically a game of 09). Battlefield 2 was extremely well done, but after playing the GoW3 demo at E3, it takes the cake. And if their are improved visuals as you say in the final version I think it will be a definite contender, and a likely winner. Although don’t forget there have been rumors of Killzone 3 and potentially even Resistance 3 coming out by year’s end. But unless there are surprise titles like this, I think we all know God of War III is taking home GOTY 2010.

i finished the game and its awesome , the graphics like CG.just like the photo above and maybe better , and the better thing i found that there is no glitches or slow down or screen tearing or texture pop up or anything like that.

its too front loaded and to much of the same. Halo reach will get goty for sure .
