2010 is flooded with videogames of high quality. No matter which console you own, you will most likely be spending a lot of your hard earned money on buying some great games this year.

Today, NPD has released the sales numbers for January 2010. Nintendo has dominated (as always) the hardware (Wii) and software (New Super Mario Bros.) charts.

My favorite genre is definitely RPG. I enjoy playing them immensely and have a passion for them. No matter if they are Western or Japanese, I always have time to play them. There were a lot of great RPGs that had been released this generation.

As expected, Nintendo topped the charts for December with the Wii topping the hardware sales and New Super Mario Bros. taking the first spot in software sales. Also, the PS3 outperformed on Xbox360 in December by a small margin. NPD U.S. sales figures for December 2009

With 2009 is almost over, ASCII Media has published a list of the 30 best selling games in the land of the rising sun for 2009.

With VGAs 2009 winners have been announced and each winner studio is celebrating its own success, we are starting to see famed people from the video games industry comments on the prizes and on the show as a whole.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is a re imagining of the first game in the franchise. The game follows a similar plot to the original: the protagonist, Harry Mason, searches for his daughter, Cheryl, in the mysterious town of Silent Hill following her disappearance after a car accident that left him unconscious.
