Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is a re imagining of the first game in the franchise. The game follows a similar plot to the original: the protagonist, Harry Mason, searches for his daughter, Cheryl, in the mysterious town of Silent Hill following her disappearance after a car accident that left him unconscious. The game is due to be released this month on the Wii on December 8th, and on PSP and PS2 on 12 January 2010.

Final Fantasy 13 US and EU release date announced

Final Fantasy 13 the highly anticipated role playing game from Square-Enix has been dated for western gamers. It is set to be released in Japan on December 17, 2009, and in North America and Europe on March 9, 2010. Watch the video below to see the official announcement.

GT 5 is currently under development by Polyphony Digital and is to be published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. Japanese gamers will be able to play this game on March, 2010. Considering other regions, it has not been decided yet. Anyway, Gran Turismo 5 is looking amazing. Check out these new screens:

New Super Mario Bros. Wii US release date confirmed

New Super Mario Bros is an upcoming side-scrolling platform video game being published and developed by Nintendo for the Wii video game console and is the sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS.

This exclusive Wii game will hit US retailers next month, November 15. The game is rumored for a December 3 release in Japan. Check the picture below, as it contains the US release date of the game:

Mass Effect 2 confirmed for January 2010 release

Mass Effect 2 is an upcoming action role-playing video game under development by BioWare, and set to be published by Electronic Arts. The game is the sequel to Mass Effect, on Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360.

BioWare has revealed that Mass Effect 2 will be shipping Jan 26, 2010 in North America and January 29 for Europe. Also, they have announced pre-order bonuses (exclusive in-game items), here are the details:

Terminus Assault Armor and the Blackstorm Heavy Weapon:

In North America, pre-order bonusesinclude special-ops armor and weaponry that are designed to boost Commander Shepard’s skills and abilities. At GameStop, Terminus Gear is available with pre-orders, which includes the powerful Terminus Assault Armor and the Blackstorm Heavy Weapon:

The Terminus Armor is designed for use in extreme planetary conditions, increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo.

The M-90 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass, and ultimately expanding the selection of heavy weapons available to players when they gear up for combat missions in Mass Effect 2.

Inferno Armor:

Inferno ArmorPlayers that pre-order Mass Effect 2 at other retail outlets in North America will receive the potent Inferno Armor, which is used by officers to monitor battlefield conditions by recognizing elevated heart rates, and regulates sub-systems with extreme efficiency to allow for greater response times – together these abilities translate in-game into a negotiation bonus for Commander Shepard and an increase in run speed and augmented damage from combat powers.

BioWare is still deciding which armor goes to the PC version and which to the Xbox 360 version.

Gears of War 3 Release Date (Rumor)

Gears of war 3 is getting a new release date? The video below shows some advertisements footage for the game on a building, and on a bus station stating that the game will be released on “12 Nov 2010″! Well the date sounds cool but the video is not granted with all these “photoshoppers” around!

Anyways lets hope it comes out sooner because I know there is a lot of gamers like me who JUST CAN’T WAIT!

GT5 ‘Release date from Gran Turismo 5 is Official’

Yesterday was a Gran Turismo 5 release date on the Play.com website. But it happens often that webshops release date’s drop not attached. So we went PS3Hype.nl this just to inform Play.com. And this was their answer.

Please be advised that the release date currently listed on the website, the 27th November 2009, is as given to us by the publisher / manufacturer or The Game.Should this release date change we will update the website accordingly, so it is worth checking periodically Play.com.

This date is given by Sony Compter Entertainment or by Polyphony Digital. This means that Gran Turismo 5 is finally able to play this year! November 2009, the race game where each race freak waiting to be released in the UK! Hopefully we will hear soon what Sony itself, here we have more information. Once we know more we’ll tell you, of course, as soon as possible to you!
